We were doing the first ever superhero demo - GP had a great idea to portray dads as superheros.

the one bit I regret is ghavving to go to Matt's place 3 days before demo - I missed seeing kids for 4 hours. gf was pleased as 1st time I had left her alone with them.

I had already arranged most of the demo - in particular hiring a chieftain tank and transport getting it to/from London

very few knew the superhero plan - I got 12 looney activists to meet 8pm on Monday night.

at 5pm I was told ladder was not long enough to reach target! why 5pm! was supposed to be collected at 10am! FFS

So I had to find a ladder and collect by 5:30pm. had to be 55 feet (Britains longest widely available).
