Enjoy your rockwool soup bath, Diver. I'm off to bed.

    Good night!

O2 are a bunch of useless €unts. I just went to their website to report my pay-as-you-go phone stolen, and you wouldn't believe how appallingly badly constructed their system is - not just the site per se (though that sucks big style), but the questions you can't possibly answer.

"On what date did you last top up your phone?" I don't bloody know.

"By how much?" I didn't bother having that tattooed on my arse either.

Also, how come "Is your phone an iPhone" is a mandatory question? And if it's that important, can't the form default to "No it bloody isn't"?

"Give two numbers you regularly call from this phone." Guess what? I don't know them because they're stored on the bloody phone! More to the point, there actually aren't two numbers that I call regularly, you morons - what do you think I am, a bloody teenager?

Luckily, I was able to put my parents' number in twice and it didn't bother checking that the numbers were both the same.

Therefore, not only do they ask unanswerable questions in the name of "security", they also then fail to check if the answers given meet their requirements.

          Arseholes

There is one positive effect: I'm now even more annoyed by O2 than I am by the person who stole the damn thing.

Been with Vodaphone since the eighties, never changed and can't picture myself doing so either. I still have the same number that I had in the eighties when it was all analog, except that the had to pay me to add a 7 to my number when the system went digital. 0836 became 07836. I purchased the number with my first phone, a briefcase sized portable phone system, I went on to a phone the size of a car battery with a carry handle, then a Motorola the size of a wwII military walkie talkie, with a foot long rubber aerial and a shoulder strap.
Oh the good old days, try driving and holding that motorola to your ear

Drove over a mobile phone with a tracked 11 ton excavator once. phoned the insurance to claim and told them the phone was irrepairable, and the guy on the other end said " what makes you think that you are qualified to make that assumption Mr *******" I replied " tell you what, I'll pop the phone into an envelope and slide it under your office door mate, that's how flat the phone is".
They still made me send it to a repair shop

Took them six weeks to decide that the phone was irreparable and pay for a replacement.

Don't care really, I'm far too knackered and busy at the new house.
