A lady friend of mine has a rather odd ex.
I don't think he actually tried to contest the divorce, but as she was getting it because she didn't like the way he set fire to their house, with them in it, and then tried to keep the Fire Brigade out, he probably realised he didn't have much of a case.
Even so, if I'm out with her and we run into him he can be very strange... luckily he knew me slightly some years ago and doesn't actually dislike me, but when she's been out with other chaps he's apparently turned very peculiar on occasion
