I have now returned from shopping.
This ultimately turned into a trip both into and out of town, HMV having proved a broken reed in certain important respects.
Borders have significantly downsized their DVD section, and have fewer offers, but I was able to get certain things that were not available in town.
So ultimately I got the good sausages and bacon, a number of DVDs, and several books
