Thoughtless me ? Not really, too much thought gone in to it. I was prepare to drive 150 to spend the day, but things have since changed and sis is getting streesed about her x-husband coming round etc... so thought it would be best to get out of the loop.

The old man moved over there some 10/15 years ago, we used to see him maybe on boxing day but only as a flying visit while he was seeing his brother.

Only got a small family and we are spread around so it makes meeting up harder.
