Just trying to see where the vague feeling of familiarity came from.

Scorton went bust, if I recall correctly. Their geology teacher taught me at Yarm.

Did you ever tell a teacher to flip off at school?
Yes, quite a few actually. One threw a bunch of keys at me once and I threw them right back at his head.

23456 is a nicer number than 44444, it has to be said.

                Oh well, nearly 45678.

They did indeed - governors daffodilled all the money away under the tutilidge of Mr Hart and Mr Foliott - and I went to another school in Cleveland. I remember Faff (Mr Heseltine), I can't remember the Geology teacher's name.

What was the first album/single you bought with your own hard-earned pocket money?
Embarrassing one this, First single was Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Junior, first Album was a compilation - one of the Now ones.

Have you ever told a joke that completely killed the atmosphere at a party/team meeting/family gathering?
I cracked a particularly brutal Essex girl joke at the Christmas table, forgetting my step-mum is from there. My dad laughed his moobs off.

Have you ever given a speech at a wedding? (And how did it go?)
Best man - it went well, so they say - but I went completely off-script and started telling an inappropriate story about the groom, he nearly went purple, so I tactfully changed the ending of the story. Had him worried there.
