Evening folks
Finally made it home. On the first attempt some bozo had parked his car across the entrance to the parking area at the rear of the premises. Having carted my gear in through the front for a change, I then decided to take this as an omen, indicating that I should act on my vague idea about going into the city centre (something I avoid like the plague) to visit the butchers that does the extra-nice sausages and bacon.
Bad idea...Comment

I took DD1 last weekend, but decided that DD2 was too young, and I wasn't going to waste £3.50 on it for her.Originally posted by Bear View PostBet that's quite nice
mines too young yet - next yearComment

Having visited said butchers and ensured a delicious fry-up for tomorrow, I naturally found myself wandering down the high street and into HMV.
Walked out about half an hour later having spent nearly £100 on DVDs.
Note that none of these are Christmas presents - they're all for me
In fact, they're probably going to constitute a large part of my TV viewing over Christmas and New Year, assuming the output of the broadcasters is as utterly poor as it usually is.Comment

Don't forget to get childcare vouchers through your company.Originally posted by Bear View PostYeah - bloody expensive isn't it
but he gets a lot out of it
and so does Mrs Bear
I keep suggesting to send both of ours, but we've never got round to it.
DD1 goes mornings every day though to the local state one, and goes to school full time next year. It's quite a good nursery, too.Comment

Upon returning from town with my booty, I found that bozo number one had departed, and a distinct and separate bozo had now parked across the gate
What is wrong with these people? It's a driveway, with a gate, quite clearly leading to an area with cars parked in it.
Useless gits
After about five minutes the responsible imbeciles returned from Iceland with their frozen turkey twizzlers and left, allowing me to finally get into the back.
Where somebody had parked in my space.

I considered it in the past. Not as an investment, but because they were good paintings.Originally posted by FiveTimes View Postanyone bought any Rolf Harris art work ?
Fancy getting one for Christmas ?
Could I get it though the business as an investment ?
Buy art because you like it, rather than for investment purposes.Comment
