Having read through a considerable volume of the more recent postings in this thread, I have come to the conclusion that this is the forum dating thread.
Predominantly male with only a couple of female posters. there seems to be a considerable ammount of rivalry between these male posters for the attentions of the females.
Therefore, wouldn't it be more logical for these desperate males to post on a dating forum?

Newbie posts don't appear until they have been moderated / approved.

This takes a while, so this one bumped everything out by one post when it finally got approved.

Had lunch (bacon, sausage, beans, fried slice, mug of tea... mmmmmmm... ) and got niece's birthday present.

Decided I had time to pop down to Trafalgar Square Post Office and post present while only missing the first few minutes of the first afternoon session.

Saw queue at PO and decided not to wait.

Got back to office, realised it was too late to go to session so returned to desk, to find my "boss" (at desk opposite) watching crap on YouTube and laughing lots, rather than attending conference.
