      Not done VB since I was at university, and had to use VB4 in an Object-Oriented programming course. Which was hard, since VB4 isn't an OO language.

            The closest I've ever been to visual basic is, well, I once picked up a book about it. Never opened it mind.

                  The lecturer was only teaching the theory too, and just kept saying that he wished we used SmallTalk instead of VB, since that's an OO language.

                  Luckily for the guys in my group, I'd been writing in BBC BASIC for years before I went to uni, and at least had some experience. Since it was a business degree, there weren't too many people who could write anything for the coursework .
