Why on earth would you want to upload 9 gig? . unless of course you started the transfer and buggered off on holiday for a fortnight

Exactly my thoughts. I was just going o grab the root directory of the application and copy it, but once OS X had counted up to 6,000 files I decided to actually check the size of it.

As most of it is completely irrelevant to me, I'll just copy the ones I need.

Good job it counts them first, rather than just starting and telling you the count at the end
