Soup'll be a while yet, so to tide me over I had a bacon butty
Thick-cut bacon on sesame bloomer, to be precise. I like that thick-cut bacon, and it cooks really well in the air fryer

Soup finally ready, and it's turned out really well; guzzled down a bowl of it with wholemeal bread
Very peppery, which is good, and I also went a bit mad with the herbs, particularly tarragon

Six further portions of soup divvied up and cooling down. There's no room for them in the freezer, of course, but I daresay I'll sort something out
