Just messing about with some XSL transforms very tedious.

XSLT is one of my favourite programming languages

Mind you, if the input documents to be transformed are tedious, I suppose the transforms might feel like that too

Tonight’s viewing started with some more (I started on it last night) of the Horizon thing ladymuck recommended about Corby’s malformed children and the sleazy efforts of the council and its contractors to not be held accountable for their incompetence in dismantling the steelworks. Good stuff.

And then for entertainment rather than information: Casino Royale (2006), in which the producers finally realise that a bunch of jokes that were already puerile twenty years before aren’t going to continue to serve the franchise for the future, and finally get around to making a Bond film worthy of the modern age

As I’ve mentioned before, lots of ambulances go past here, which I notice because of the flashing blue lights and usually having my living room curtains open. I think there was a bit of an increase in them over the past month or so, but they seem to be getting back to normal levels now. What this means, if anything, I do not know; maybe the pandemic is being beaten, or maybe all the hypochondriacs have finally been reassured
