I have been outside. It's really a rather lovely day.
Walked to Tesco. As I approached, I saw the length of the queue. It being longer than I was willing to put up with, I did an about turn and walked to Sainsbury's.
There was no queue at Sainsbury's.
They also did not have any fresh flowers. My freesias will last a couple more days though.
Lots of loo roll and kitchen towel. No red lentils. Didn't see any flour but, having never seen flour in that shop, I have no idea where it would be found. Same with eggs.
There were plenty of mini Wispas and the salted butter I like.
I now need to reconcile against my list to see what I'm missing.
Sounds OK apart from the red lentils. What on earth are people going to do with them all? Or is it a supply chain thing?
dinner has been more chicken and chickpea madras.
the flavour of which, has, as is it's wont, matured nicely in the fridge.
with naan and pillow rice.
