Shame. Still, I'm sure that there'll be other expenses that they can trim in order to pay the bills.

I recently had cause to extract a large amount of data from a password protected PDF. Took me all of 10 minutes. Didn't actually need the data in the end, but it was a worthy two-fingered salute to the publisher.

One occasionally wonders what happened to them...

As an addendum to this: I did notice that their data quality was somewhat lacking. No real surprise TBH.

Editing PDF documents is easy. Getting the Tippex off the computer screen is the hard bit.

That's a change management issue - I need to find the photo of a restaurant booking screen where the waitress just continued with the old coloured felt tip approach.
