It's lie! The Chinese my parents use always say "15 minutes" for phone in orders irrespective of how busy they are. If you called it in and took a slow toddle down there I bet you won't be waiting for too long and you can always do that outside if you wrap up warm.
Take phone too and post drivel from outside if needed.
It's his eldest's 16th birthday next week and they're upset that things aren't quite going to plan. He's going to still be self isolating as it was agreed with his ex that the kids are the people most likely to be harbouring lurgy from school so they need to be kept away for two weeks.
