Had to post a birthday card so popped out to Sainsbury's via a post box.
Lovely sunny day, really warm out, just a gentle breeze.
Sainsbury's was calm. Had decent stocks of most things although I didn't go up and down every aisle. Picked up enough bits to keep me out of mischief until the weekend at least.
Either Surf have changed their range of liquid fabric detergents or the the run on such products (why??) means that the ones left are so very foul smelling that no-one will wash their clothes in them. They were all disgusting. I found an own-brand detergent that will do for now.Comment

Traffic outside isn’t at the usual level for a weekday, but it’s still pretty steady. Maybe about Bank Holiday Sunday afternoon level.
The hardware shop is closed, even though it doesn’t have to be. Either he hasn’t read the small print, or he’s taking no chances, or it’s just one of those days that happen from time to time when he doesn’t open.Comment
