Dinner was steak and chips. Its always the same on Christmas Eve.

Tonight’s tea has been pork chops, chips, peas, and gravy. Lovely
It’s been raining hereabouts, but seems to have stopped. Quite warm out though, comparatively speaking, at 7°C, which is only slightly less than it was this morningComment

Dinner this evening was a risotto with squash and lots of other unctuous stuff. I think HWMBO slightly misunderstood my need for something light with vegetables. It was very tasty but my delicate constitution couldn't cope with much
In his shoppings he discovered a customer order that hadn't been collected so we have a nice big turkey to eat over the next 10 days He has spent most of the day prepping for tomorrow's dinner while I've dozed on the sofa feeling sorry for myself.Comment
