Still on, though if they cancel I'm stuck here - not medically fit for discharge until it's done

And to be honest I just went for a shower, which is only round the corner about ten paces away, and it left me feeling rather breathless with a hint of tightness in my lower chest (which it didn't a couple of days ago), so I think it's probably best to get the procedure done before leaving

It isn't.

Lots of older people e.g. over 70s go into hospital and lose muscle tone so when they leave in 3weeks+ they have less mobility.

I would do something like the Chinese do in the park though at the bedside e.g. morning exercise at 8am for all patients that aren't bed bound through the radio.
