The base of the A14-A14-A1 triangle was borked again, and this time badly enough that Google Maps suggested travelling up the A14 side, cutting across on a B road near the apex, and back down the A1 side to get past it. But it took long enough just to get that far up the road, because of the traffic that was trying to go up along the base being backed up.
Then, at this end, I ended up joining the queue to get off the motorway at the 300 yard marker, in the inside lane before the junction
It took nearly half-an-hour to finally make it down there, and then the local traffic was a pig.
Once nearly home, I saw that the football stadium is casting a bright glow on the low clouds, so I assume it's somehow their fault
