Unusual announcement at the station in Neath this morning:

The next train stopping at Platform One is not for use by the public

It duly arrived at 07:32 and turned out to be one of the shiny new diesel/electric GWR trains.

I was struck by how much shorter than the GWR Class 43 125 sets they are, it didn't overlap the platform at Neath at all.

News from the theatre - they haven't got it I wonder if some oik has found it and is shuttling between Leeds and Da Hudd in 1st class comfort, eating all the biscuits and snacks up.

Car started first time. Battery sounded flat. Went for a drive 70mph but need to do another one within the next 7 days. May go and visit clientCo in an office I have to drive to.

One thing I learnt the hard way at school is not to put travel passes in coat/jacket pockets that don't have a zip on them and use the zip when you place it in.

It could have fallen out anywhere and anyone could have picked it up, not necessarily someone who is a crook.

Just get the replacement as it is suppose to block your original ticket.
