Provided a lot of value to Client Co in the last few days for very little effort

The butchers have been visited and I walked out with a very nice T bone for three.
He suggested the other Steak was only 28 days mature, nice breed he said, but not what I know you like

In addition to two massive Pork Chops, Bacon and a nice piece of Fillet for my Mum.

Glad to see others who see the value in decent butchers here.

I was going to be more descriptive and point out the bakewell tart was made to a higher standard than the pork pie as it came from the company they get to do their bakery.

My lunch was of two parts.

1st stage was home made Mackerel Pate, with Toast from a pan loaf from Coop.
2nd stage was Home made Onion Soup with Organic Onions sourced from Aldi

2 bottles of Lager (Budvar) were also consumed.

          Hope that raises the bar

              Pondy, I had a hot hog roast bap from the farmers market. It had, in build order;

              Bottom half of the bap
A smear of stuffing (very herby, but i'm not an expert on the specifics)
              A pile of pork
A scoop of onions from the hot plate
A slice of gravy (it was extremely thick)
              A slab of crackling
              A scoop of apple sauce
              Top half of the bap

£4.50 and dragged back to clientco so it could be consumed in the dry.

TL;DR past the first line which was perfectly acceptable. The rest was borderline grandstanding. No one likes a showoff

Lunch reporting clearly requires a fine line to be trod. I think i'll head back to General for some light trolling, it's easier

The Guardian one from this article.

Was very nice actually, although I didn't have fresh Horseradish so had to make do with a hot one from a jar.
