This evening's televisual spectacular was led by the start of the final season of the current Doctor Who, more than usually understandable despite being authored by Moffat.
Followed by the latter half of a thing on BBC4 about tanks and tankers during the second worldwide unpleasantness.
Interesting comparison between the weedy 37mm shell used by the brits and the rather more phallic 88mm used by the other lot.
Then amusement was provided by the Oz customs programme with the usual assortment of kooks and villains.
Couldn't get over the sudanese twat who carried a shedload of fireworks along with cigarette lighters in his baggage. Amazingly, dumbo didn't get gaoled, as would be appropriate, but just got a warning. The only fine he got was $220Aus for bringing in fresh dates.
After which the commentary on "The Adventures of Robin Hood" filled the time.
Despite having played quite successfully yesterday, the disc started stuttering, which proved to be due to some crap on the dvd, duly wiped off onto the carpet, after which it was perfect.
I must have been more pissed than usual last evening since I left the fan heater on overnight too. Thank feck for the thermostat.Comment
