The disused shop over the way, between the picture framer and the East European convenience store, has been turned into a Polish café. I'll be keeping an eye out for Harry Enfield popping in there for his cappuccino of a morning

Ribeye steak and chips for tea
I noticed the cooking instructions on the label on the steak had the heading "Ready to cook." I'd already leapt to that conclusion on the grounds that it was no longer wandering round a field saying "Moo", but I suppose some people like to be certain

This evening's televisual feast, such as it was, was provided by POI from yesterday and "Max Payne", a most curious epic, apparently derived from some computer game or other, of which I know nothing.
Curiously, the dvd provides no commentary, which is a bit disappointing, but there you go.
