Dinner consumed, toddler put to bed, now thinking it might be time to sleep.
Bit of a change at ClientCo today - now wanting detailed timesheets showing start and finish times, breaks etc whereas before they've been signing anything that just said whether you were there for a day or not. The request came out of the blue with no context. Interesting times here as budgets are under a squeeze but the team is half made up of contractors after the permies have managed to get themselves seconded off left right and centre.
Head down, keep invoicing and don't attract attention :-)
And interestingly I got a quick look at one of the other guy's contracts - ouch! He seems to have settled for the standard IR35-unfriendly contract instead of arguing about it, along with everyone else seemingly having a clause that £40 of their day rate will be held by the agency as a "retention bonus" until the contract is completed. I can't believe that people stand for that kind of tulip!
