Internet moving completed
This also involved moving all other network-related stuff - Apple Extreme wifi router, networked drives, and so forth - across there, along with the standalone shelving unit on which they live. Untangling cables, coiling and cable-tying the extra-long coax attached to the Internet inlet, and so forth all turned out to be a bit more time-consuming than I'd anticipated.
But it's all done, the Internet still gets in, the disks still contain bits, and I have a nice bit of space by the door that I didn't previously have
And I no longer risk sending many terabytes flying by accidentally knocking against the shelves as I come in and out of the room, which has nearly happened several timesComment

I'm sure we had to pay 3/6d or somesuch to actually buy it before bringing it home.
3/6d was the price of a paperback book at the time.Comment

There are few things worse than a bouncing terabyte.Comment

Following the scrambled eggs for lunch, tea was kedgeree.
I went overboard on the chilli again, so the bogroll is in the fridge ready for tomorrow morning.
It was reasonably nice, though I should have boiled the eggs a bit longer.
I'm most impressed with the dye job I did on the towels this morning.
Oranges might not be the only fruit, but by damn, it does a good job on changing the colour of towelling.
I suspect the ZeitUnderpants have gone a fetching shade of bluish white from being washed with a pair of jeans.Comment

In addition, I mowed the lawns again this afternoon while the washing machine was doing its thing.
By the end of it I was nearly on my knees and not in a good way.Comment

The chap 3 doors down was up on the roof repointing his chimney pots from a roof ladder.
Rather him than me.Comment
