Just popped out the back. It's a nice afternoon out there. A tad chilly, perhaps; but the in-like-a-lion-out-like-a-lamb thing seems to have worked

It's grey and has rained where I am.

Well this afternoon's carpentry has been reasonably successful.

And changing the sanding disc has improved the rate of paint removal no end.

However thanks be to the god of polyfilla for his beneficence.

It hides a multitude of sins.

Grey and raining this morning, sunny this afternoon.

          Washing hanging on the line.

          Getting grey again now.

Unusually, the weather appears to be moving pretty much north to south, possibly veering west ever so slightly. I assumed tonight's rain would be the stuff that's currently hanging around to the south of St. George's Channel, but that's predicted not to even make its way over Wales, and we'll be getting the stuff that's currently pestering Kent and London. All very strange

We'll be relieving you of the rain, and our temperature will go down to 7°C by early morning
