      Lamb chops for dinner, as a change from yesterday's shoulder of lamb, which I'll be finishing off tomorrow

        • A family whose son is in hospital, seriously injured;

        • A chap who relies on his van to do business, but is both injured and out of business;

        • His mate, also injured and out of work;

        • The newsagents (husband and wife) whose home is now having to be propped up (they live over the shop) and whose business is closed down until the structure of the building can be repaired;

        • The police officers who had to go to the families of those who died or were injured to break the news;

        • The police officers who were pursuing the car, who are now being investigated to see if their pursuit caused the collision (their unmarked car was lifted and taken from where you see it pull up in the video, as it has to be treated as evidence);

        • The paramedics and ambulance staff (often the same, but I think there may still be some ambulance staff who aren't fully qualified as paramedics) who had to deal with the injured and the dead at the scene;

        And those I've forgotten.

        It's all pretty tulip really

                  I have no idea what the weather was like on my morning cycle in. It was too foggy to tell.
