Just found out that although I prepared the tax return for my wife months ago (last May time!) I didn't actually hit the submit button all the way through the process.

So I didn't file it until today

Send them a letter from a usability expert arguing that she shouldn't be penalised because it's their tulip website's fault.

I'm preparing the form to send back to claim ignorance.

They owe us £30 so maybe that will work in our favour.
