Mattress is now in situ, and bed made. Initial impressions: I'm higher up; my fitted sheets aren't deep enough; and it's amazingly comfortable, particularly compared to the old one
On the old one out it turned out there was actually a hole starting to wear in the ticking, right in the middle, where one of the springs was making it lumpy. No wonder I haven't had a comfortable night's sleep in agesComment
