Dallas usually his good ideas on this stuff. I am thinking of Club La Santa - something like that.

Dallas also dispenses good career advice - even if each advice is prefaced with "this is basic stuff - why don't you know this by now".

According to ms#3's facebook, he is, as of today "in a relationship".

Does that mean I should buy Christmas pressies for my common-law step grandkids (whom I have yet to meet)?

"In a relationship" beats "in the nick", "in rehab" etc.

I've only met her once, but she seems nice. Hopefully she's strong enough to sort him out. I never was.

Yes! Have you thought of buying them a "go-kart" with easy driver seat access and shopping basket?

How many children does she have? Are you meeting them all at Christmas?

              Evening

Most of the jobs have been done, pooch has been showered and all dry and asleep.

Kitchen painted, work on the garden all sorted after last weeks Barney storm.

I only have a good hour of ironing left, then i can sit down and have a glass of wine.

Two. 8 year old boy, and 6 year old girl. Would be nice to meet them. I don't know if she has family support - I'm guessing so as I haven't been asked to babysit. I'd happily be a pretend granny, unless they're little shit:s.

At 8 and 6 they are likely to be nice. Go to poundland - get the boy a gun and the girl some make up! They will be signing "grandma we love you" before you can fill them full up with coke and chocolate.....

Apparently the boy wants an xbox to play Minecraft on. I could really win some granny-brownie points...

This is why I don't usually bother with ironing
