I thought I had a naan in the freezer, but I appear to have been mistaken, so I had to make do with more rice

I suppose I could have popped into the Indian restaurant over the road and got a naan to take away, but I didn't think of that until just now. Also, the only time I remember that restaurant is when it's mentioned in the local paper for failing hygiene inspections.

There's a superlative Indian takeaway two or three doors past the Chinese, but if I'm going to walk for three or four minutes I might as well just get the whole meal from there

I was driving past the Rugby transmitter site the other day. Is the VLF stuff for the nuclear subs still there, I wonder? There are a few masts still, but it's nothing like it used to be with the really tall ones
