Weekend in Leicester off to a good start, enjoyed an afternoon at Bradgate Park

I don't mind cider when it's the good stuff down in Somerset, though I'm not mad keen on it.

I've never liked cheese. In fact, I avoid most milk-related products except in extremely small quantities, or transmuted in some way.

I only have a snid of milk in my tea. Even that has to be poured in after the tea and left for twenty seconds or so to diffuse before stirring, as that scalds the milk slightly and removes most of its flavour.

I don't put butter on sandwiches, except toasted sandwiches where it's on the outside and actually being used to fry the bread. (Never understood why they're called "toasted sandwiches" when they're clearly fried.)

Had the rest of yesterday's chicken tikka masala for dinner. Still very nice, but that's the second time this week I've ended up eating the same thing two days in a row. I need to organise my cooking a bit more flexibly

Can't really complain coz I nuke it first to get the contents really hot, then cook in the oven like it says on the packet.

The damn thing tilted over & leaked a bit of chicken out.
