My many FORTRAN IV programs on the GA 16-220 were designed to do that with my job.
Nothing more tedious than writing test programs for chips all day.
When I started in 1979 it took weeks to write a tester program.
By the time I'd been there 3 years it took about 10 minutes.
It normally took far longer to punch the deck of cards than to do the data entry part.
Not as impressive as satellite ephemeris though.
