It was, of course, a Pukka Pie; this being their home county.
I remember visiting Leicester in the late 1960s, due to an uncle living here, and being baffled as to why all the chip shops had illuminated signs outside with "Pukka Pies" written on the bottom in an orange oval. I asked my dad what a "pukka pie" was and how it differed from pies in general, but he offered no clear explanation
Simple but effective marketing by the Pukka Pie company, given that I remember it so clearly nearly half a century later
EDIT: it's not quite an oval, more an oval with the ends cut off; and it turns out the company was founded in 1963, so they did well to get their signs all over the county by 1969
Don't recall any. Last vivid dream was Monday night - in which I squeezed a huge zit on my cheek which burst with a loud pop, producing large volumes of pus. It was definitely symbolic!
