Bloody clock went wrong again. Opened one eye, saw it was 7:01, thought "Tulip!" jumped out of be in a panic, charged into ms#5's room shouting "you're late" and saw his clock said 4:43. Clock sets its time automagically - this is the second time it's gone very wrong during the night. Useless piece of tulipe.

Now here's an odd thing.

I was dreaming about sniping with a .338 Lapua.

I awoke & found that it was exactly 3:38 according to the non-ZeitClock(tm).

Freaky.

Just as well it wasn't a 50 cal Barrett.

Oddly we had the recycling bin lorry wandering around the road this morning.

Most peculiar since bin day was yesterday.

And it wasn't a bank holiday week so far as I noticed.
