Still lurgified. Passed on parkrun this morning.

Got half a day in for clientB before 11am instead.

Am trying to be postive about getting a gig interview, so bought myself a new suit yesterday (nowt to do with the fact I don't fit into any of my old stuff )

Paid my Council Tax and water rates. Two fewer things to worry about for the next twelve months

And I've just discovered the football team are at home today, so I'm going to get the shopping done before the roads become impassable

I have foolishly agreed to accompany the menfolk to spectate at a footballing contest on Monday evening. Still, at least I won't be missing Eastenders - it has, apparently, been cancelled in order to televise said event.

The footy traffic was just starting to build up as I was getting home. Took a rat run I've never used before to avoid the worst of it. That road has no residents parking scheme, and was already filled with parked cars in every conceivable space, with just enough room left to get down wing mirror to wing mirror

Managed to keep the red wine out of the fridge when unpacking the shopping this time

Now having a sausage and bacon sandwich and a glass of orange juice by way of celebration

Not a happy bunny after the disaster that was Wales v Ireland.
