Sometimes they'd turn up early, sometimes late. So some days they'd come round to help him get ready for bed at about 7pm, some days they'd turn up at the same time to make him tea. Thankfully, he wasn't on any medication then or goodness knows whether he'd have got it or not.
As much of a wrench as it was (and we got social services to tell him that he couldn't go home on his own, even with home help) moving into the nursing home was the best move for him.Comment
