That's what I like about casseroles, always tasty for the next few days.

        Fishfinger sarnies.

Funny how stuff like this pans out. I was off on wednesday for medical purposes, which allowed me to buy nice bread from the bakers. This having gone stale by yesterday reminded me of the lump of cod I got some months ago and slung in the freezer. So, breadcrumbs, slices of cod, an egg and ten minutes frying -> proper fishfingers

        Sleepy now though...

Better get to my casserole, which has probably got to the point where even the bones have deliquesced by now. You'd be amazed how much time can pass, trying to find a funny one with pictures to go at the end of Monday Links when I don't have one handy

Left over steak sarnies for me tomorrow I can use the bearnaise a butter as it will have hardened a tad.

Dinner consumed, filial duty done and mother deposited back at octogenarian towers. Wine now opened.

I had to drink a whole bottle of wine today

Well Mr N can't drink with the pills he's on and I wasn't going to let a good bottle go to waste.

                  Honest.

Did you deep fry or just shallow fry in the pan?
