Last time I did karaoke was with CM, SallyAnne and Mr SallyAnne in Manchester.Originally posted by Bunk View PostI don't do karaoke. Ever.
That was the highpoint of an evening which included CM and SA window shopping for handbags and shoes as we wandered around the city.Comment

Your accountant doesn't seem to know much. I suspect that we now share the same one.Originally posted by mudskipper View PostUnfortunately my accountant says BIK, so not only do I have to be arsed to expense it, I also have to persuade her it's allowable.Comment

It's mentioned as a specific example of something which doesn't attract a benefit in kind. I don't expect my accountant to know the manuals inside out, but if you don't know, you find out. You don't speculate - I am paying for expert advice and guidance, and I expect to get it.
Might be time to shop around again.Comment

Think so, it's not bad for what you get.Originally posted by Pondlife View PostMorning All.
WBS. He seems to be flying from an airport that has one flight a day. He's also never heard of online checkin. Oh, and 100 flights over 13 years is amateur hour. But I agree with the "ommm" approach to dealing with the animals they allow to board planes these days. I could rant on this subject for hours. What is it about air travel that turns people into such selfish tw@ts. And why am I typing in short choppy sentences?
Next to the chocolate shop? (although I've never tried it) Don't be tempted by the ridiculously priced noodles just around the corner.
I still have my flying blue petroleum card which should get me access to the lounge, but the feckers have changed the rules and you can only use the lounge with that card if you are transferring
