I managed to take a wrong turn in Bakewell and headed off in the general direction of the Pennines. Once the road signs started telling me I was going in the right direction for Manchester and Stockport, I gave up on that road and found one going towards Ashbourne. Finally reached the M1 to the south of Derby
Still, it was chucking it down with rain the entire time , so I got to see lots of soggy cows and sheep.
Getting a user account up and running here is amazing. The project's own sys admin will be helping me shortly; apparently every project hires its own sys admin externally as the 'helpdesk' is beyond useless. The 'helpdesk' people are certainly somewhat lacking in communication skills, as I have discovered.

It's grey and chucking it down here in our lovely terraced street.
Some bloke from down the road has dumped a load of his old furniture in the back alley. Saw him do it in Saturday but assumed he was getting a vanful to take to the tip. Seems not :-(
Duly reported it to the council along with the landlord of one of the student houses chucking his old mattresses out further down the alley.
