He also told me "all websites are the same" Hotels.com clearly shows the rate per night inclusive of VAT, so all websites are not the same.
Edit: According to my mate, hotels.com are owned by expedia.

Just went to the shop to get some rice krispies. Tentatively jogged down the road for a couple of hundred yards. Hip seemed fine (although hamstring did feel tight)
