They also applied the discount code to only one of the rooms.

Well expedia finally called me back. The £63 doesn't include taxes. I did point out that they were obliged to state whether prices included VAT, but they seem to think that the total on the payment page which says "includes taxes" was sufficient. We argued for about ten minutes and he has agreed to pass my feedback on.

Might mail to ASA 'cause I'm feeling belligerent..

He also told me "all websites are the same" Hotels.com clearly shows the rate per night inclusive of VAT, so all websites are not the same.

Edit: According to my mate, hotels.com are owned by expedia.

        Ah well, complaint sent.

Ugh. Just realised I may need to go into town tomorrow, but they're having some kind of "festival" to celebrate the completion of the elected mayor's latest ill-thought-out "urban regeneration" project, so parking + crowds = nightmare

Just went to the shop to get some rice krispies. Tentatively jogged down the road for a couple of hundred yards. Hip seemed fine (although hamstring did feel tight)

Might try a little run at the weekend.

Been 8 weeks since I buggered it. Gonna take it very easy at least till after my walking holiday. Funnily enough I did pick up some wine with my rice krispies...

                      I don't believe it.

Currently airing my sheets with a 2kW fan heater so I've got sommat to sleep on tonight.

Maybe I do need a tumble drier.
