Is that Isaiah or Matthew, Mark, Luke or John?

    Just asking, like.

I believe it's in both Mark and John, attributed to John the Baptist, who was quoting the prophet Isaiah.

But I got an E for my Religious Knowledge O Level, so…

It being many years since I read anything of the Goode Booke, I'm finding that reading chapters of said tome to ZP & ZM proves problematic at times.

I'm sure the copy of the Authorised Version belonging to ZP has funny spellings of names in it.

They seem much harder to say than they used to be.

Maybe I'm out of practise or getting old or sommat.

1 Kings is problematic, with blah, son of blah, son of blah, etc.

And that Paul chap is a real logic chopper, I'll be bound.

Indeed, you are correct, according to google.

Much prefer the Gospels to a lot of the rest of it.

          Easier to read.

          More of a story.

Less of the blah son of blah son of blah style of things.

Of course there's always the joys of Leviticus, all about shagging your neighbour's ass & all that.

In other news, I've done some painting, and some rollering on of fungicide.

Who knows, I might have a useable kitchen by the end of next week.

Then I can go back to "work".

There was a furry person attempting to help itself to some munchies this afternoon.

It was very vocal & s/he who would be ZM II was not at all pleased.

I think I'll go to bed.

                    Tired.

                    Now.

Rather sppropriate that "The Road to Nowhere" is playing on Vintage TV at the moment.
