Morning all.
A couple of tree surgeons () have managed to hit the electricity cables just down the road from me. Lots of black smoke and it sounded like someone was setting fire to a fireworks factory.

Fire engine has now gone and Western Power Distribution are on the case.
Fortunately I am on a different set of cables and so still have power. Everyone the other side of the next side road is shutdown including the "one stop shop" and the local surgery. The road was closed and so no buses were running. This means that there is an unusually large number of old people milling aimlessly about.Comment
