I think I may have broken my toe.

Tried to ring docs to get an appointment, they're at lunch

Man up and get some sports tape for it.

          You're in the wars.

          How'd you do that then?

I dropped a window panel on it.

It's one of those panels that you put in to stop insects getting through when you open the window.

Who'd have thought they were so heavy

No, but it works. Serious; all the docs will do is tape it and tell you to take an aspirin, as they do for anything here.

Is it too early to start self medicating with cocktails?

If its gone all black behind the joints then its deffo broken. There isn't much the docs can do apart from taping it together to another toe.

I have to do this every friday evening for football and top tip is get some fabric to go between the toes as it makes it bit comfier

I dropped it on the top of the toe and the nail is a lovely shade of dark blue.

One of my neighbours is a nurse had a look at it and said to head to the docs if I can.

It is never too early for that.
