Busy in the culinary sense this weekend, made strawberry and vanilla jam, lemon curd and soda bread this morning. Yesterday jointed a chicken and made twice baked souffles, I was going to make a chicken recipe from the new Glynn Purnell book but I need to buy a hand blender for smaller amounts of food.

This afternoon has plans for strawberry ice cream and reverse lemon meringue and summat with the rest of the chicken.

Ice-cream made, summat is now southern fried chicken which will be cooked in the bbq.

Still some chicken left, so will need to plan summat else for that tomorrow.

Nice, I made some sort of bread/cake type thing with polenta, grated carrot, fenugreek, grated potato, corriander and lime..quite nice too and may be the start of CUK Book 2 recipe collection
