Despite all the conversations over the past couple of months this has come as a surprise.
Especially to ZeitMater, who, of course, can cope with him at home.
Don't feel bad - he'll probably end up enjoying it. He gets to mix with people who've shared his life experiences, and won't get impatient when he forgets / repeats himself as they'll be doing the same. Any chance of getting them in together?Comment

There comes a point, sadly, where you just have to do it and deal with the consequences.
The upside is that the consequences don't actually last long as within a week or two they will think they have been there forever.
The fun starts then they forget they have actually been there for years and start thinking you have come to pick them up and take them home again after a day out.
