Have you got anything lined up for when you finish yet?

Negotiating some direct work with Client #2 - at least a month, hoping for 4 months though. Otherwise back on the market again Shame, liked this clientco, nice bunch of people and get to chat to mudskipper all day too!

The shine is wearing thin on this client, people are nice but line manager is a complete picky stress bunny, gets their knickers in a twist over very little and is completely disorganized.

Will keep invoicing, but am happy when they are not in the office, as it makes everyone's life easier.

            Morning denizens

Rather grey and gloomy out there

I think I'd better postpone my trip to British Camp, yet again - my back's still not 100%, and clambering around on Iron Age battlements that are slippery with rain probably isn't a good idea until it is

Also, one reason to go there is for the view, which is probably not much in evidence today.

May head over to Oakham. There are a couple of secondhand bookshops over there I could happily waste a bit of time in

I rather miss Robert The Books in Swansea.

Used to go there for years, er, decades.

Now all we have left is charity shoppes, of which only the Oxfam shoppe in Castle Street is much cop & expensive with it.

New car parking rules at clientco (clientco has lost access to half the car park) - won't effect me as I'm an early starter but roll on the entertainment....
Just blocked in the Head of the Car Parking Stasis vehicle, petty I know but meh

First day of new routine, up early(ish) to do the school run with the kids before heading into ClientCo, might have forgotten to tell PM that I will be late in, oooopsy! Although was only 10 mins after usual start time so not enough time for them to start panicking, mores the pity
