Well I've cleaned the windscreen.
Used:
half a potato rubbed all over the screen
followed by
neat sugar soap on a sponge
followed by
potato again
followed by wilkinsons glass cleaner (soap & isopropanol)
Duly squeegee'ed off & dried with paper towel.
Followed by test of wipers.
Seems to have worked.
I shall report further when I've driven the fecker in the rain.
Yesterday evening's drive wasn't much fun.Comment

Plus my eyes are itching again.
Goddamn tree pollen.
Sowed some runner bean seeds, two kinds of tomato seeds, and some cabbage seeds.
All in the greenhouse.
I await results with interest.Comment

Afternoon denizens
Back still playing up
On the other hand, it meant I was able to persuade my Mum not to load me down with several bags of groceries I didn't actually need for the return home.
Got away with bringing back a mere three carrier bags of stuff, one set of speakers, and a revolving leather chair
Chair is still in bits in the back of the car. I'll see whether my back is up to bringing any of the bits in in an hour or two.Comment
