Years since I've been there. When we moved down south in the early Seventies it was one of the places all our visitors from the North got taken to see, so I must have gone there a dozen times in the space of two or three years.

10 eggs today (spotted by Zippy!) - think I must have missed one yesterday.

Just bought a massive bit of cow to encrust in pastry for dinner tomorrow. Queue at the butchers was out the door and half way down the street. Nom.

Waiting for my wife to get out of the dentist and popped into the butchers. 6 venison, 6 wild boar & fruit and 6 hog & herb sausages for under a tenner.

By the Old White Hart in Hook for those local.

I took the last of the venison though, so tough if you wanted them.
